1830
When Domingo Bombal Ugarte buys Finca Los Alamos he begins the transformation of the former estancia into an estate dedicated to viniculture.

As of 1830 he produces wine with grapes from his own vineyards.  His descendants employ 72 hectares to grow four varieties of red grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Syrah, and two of white grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot de La Loire, and today they are counted among the main premium grape producers in San Rafael.  The grapes of Los Alamos are hand harvested, respecting the right moment for each of the varieties to produce the best possible wines.
